Coach Trevor on Tony Huge: \"We still disagree a lot\"

One of them reads the biochemistry and writes the plan. The other injects it, draws the blood and publishes the result. Ten years in, the arrangement has not changed.

Dr Tony Huge and Coach Trevor recording the anabolicTV series

"We still disagree a lot," Trevor said of Tony on Advices Radio in 2017, "but almost everything, in the end, we come to the same conclusion for the most part" (12:45). That sentence explains why the partnership has outlasted every other pairing in enhancement media.

How they met

Trevor did not plan to coach. "I never wanted to do that. I did some side work, personal training, for money, but that was it" (2:10). Coaching started at 22 or 23, flying in to prep competitors backstage, spreading by word of mouth among people who were not public about what they used (4:18 to 5:20). He kept it quiet because of who you deal with at that level. Then Enhanced Athlete, and Tony, made the work public.

The 2 men sat down together on camera for the first time in October 2016 (Enhanced Coaching). By 2017 Trevor had moved to the same city as Tony, "not too far from him" (5:20).

What Trevor sees in Tony

The willingness. Tony says "we get to test it on me" and Trevor takes him at his word (12:45). On that same episode Tony describes a run of PGF2-alpha that went to triple and quadruple doses for weeks and left him sick, dehydrated, 15 lb lighter and unable to lift with the injected muscle (29:40). Trevor's contribution to that story is the explanation of why it failed and what the compound is for. That division is the whole relationship.

Trevor's own instinct runs the other way. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" (27:30); he prefers formulas he has seen work over theories people bring him. The exception he tells against himself: he tried vardenafil reluctantly and "it turns out the Levitra is now my favourite thing to take" (28:35).

What Tony sees in Trevor

The results. Trevor's line about his own career is "it just so happened that I was a better coach than a bodybuilder" (3:14), and the videos since 2016 are Tony putting Trevor's coaching on the record: cycle length, the compound-switch rule, the T4 protocol, the HGH and insulin thresholds, the diet that goes to 1,500 g of carbs a day. Tony asks the question the viewer would ask. Trevor gives the number. The written versions of those answers are on the Protocols page.

Tony has also said on camera what Trevor's body costs him: the 24-hour days awake and the 36-hour sleeps during the 2020 Mass Blast, described by Tony as the price of how hard Trevor's system runs (episode 3, 8:42).

The one place they split on camera

Fat. Trevor "likes it really fatty," beef and whole milk, and believes in more saturated fat on a bulk. Tony ran lean beef and lactose-free skim through the same 30 days (episode 3, 3:26). Same house, same protocol, 2 shopping lists. The disagreement did not stop the experiment.

Why it matters

Most enhancement content is one man talking to a camera. The Tony and Trevor tapes are 2 men who disagree in real time, one of whom then injects the compromise and publishes the blood. A decade of that is why the clips still get lifted, reacted to and argued over, and why Trevor's answer on why bodybuilders die young has more views than most channels in the space (watch).

The newest videos, from 2024 and 2025, have the same 2 men at the same table.
